I’m deeply passionate about using software to explore and solve problems in biology. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to build tools that support research in areas ranging from human genetics to synthetic biology and environmental microbiology.
My journey started with a strong foundation in biology, and along the way I developed a love for software engineering. Bringing these two worlds together has given me a unique perspective: I understand the complexity and nuance of biological systems, and I know how to design software that can make those complexities more approachable. For me, writing code isn’t just about technology—it’s about enabling discovery and helping researchers push the boundaries in biology.
Outside of work, I love traveling and discovering new places—especially through their food. Exploring local culinary scenes is one of my favorite ways to connect with different cultures. When I’m at home, I bring that passion into my own kitchen, where I enjoy baking and sharing homemade treats.
